Group volunteering

Group volunteering

To maximise your impact on our community as well as your pleasure, invite your friends, siblings, parents, grand-parents, uncles, aunts, cousins, colleagues, professors, neighbors and basically any person you know !

Company / “Team building”

To enroll your employees for a “team building” activity is a unique occasion to improve your teamwork and reinforce your internal cohesion, as you participate to the social, economic and cultural development of our community.

Your company is required to make a donation of $25 per employee to Robin des Bois Foundation, in exchange for which you will receive a tax receipt.

Robin des Bois also welcomes students’ groups looking to benefit from the volunteering experience, whether they come from elementary school, high school, cegep or college ! Invite your relatives so they can be served by the kids and witness their great efforts that will shine on our society.

How It Works

You’re invited to enlist 10 participants per work shift, or a group of 20 if you’re creating your own private or semi-private event that includes a minimum of 50 clients. The day shift begins at 10:00AM, ends at 3:00PM and is available from Monday to Saturday. The evening shift runds from 5:00PM to 10:00PM and is available on Fridays & Saturdays only. It’s very important to arrive on time; no earlier and no later.

On the day of your event you will receive a basic training in service. Then a soup-break is offered to give you a little energy… then off you go to your assigned tasks! At the end of the shift you’re welcome to stay on for good discussion and good cuisine – Companies and organizations have a 25 % discount on our entire menu, and students have the day special for $10 + taxes.

What To Wear / What Not To Wear

All participants must wear closed-toe shoes, have good hygiene and wear suitable, clean clothing (no hooded cotton, pants with holes or printed shirts with sexual or violent connotations). Those working in the kitchen must have hair held back and have jewellery removed.
