This young man happened to pass by this winter and played for us for a few minutes. Pure joy. Video. He returns this Sunday, June 26, at 4 PM for an intimate concert.
Passionate about music from all backgrounds, Olivier Perrault is a young Quebec pianist with a brilliant career marked by success. During his 9 years of private training under professor Marie-Hélène Rondot, he developed a wide repertoire and a love for music across various styles and composers. Having played his first notes at age 8, he has received numerous awards from the Vincent-d’Indy School of Music, from which he graduated with a 9th-grade piano performance diploma in 2019. He has showcased his skills both in concerts and competitions.
At 20, Olivier is currently studying civil engineering at the École Polytechnique de Montréal, but he continues to treat his piano as an inseparable friend, living his passion by giving concerts and teaching piano to younger students.
