International DJ and Pioneer of the Montreal Electronic Music Scene

For nearly 25 years, MightyKat has been born with a sixth sense for rhythm. Influenced by jazz, disco, and soul, her unique sound bridges eclectic house and the funky side of techno. MightyKat’s sophisticated style and refined track selection define her signature sound, while her love for the dance floor inspires her to take the crowd on a unique journey every time she hits the decks. Her versatility has proven her ability to warm up a room, close out a night, or control large events in clubs and festivals.

Between her travels, she continues to organize and promote the popular « Purr Club Social » parties at Village Pied-du-Courant during the summer and at various venues in Montreal throughout the year. She also served as the musical director for seven editions of the prestigious Quebec Comedy Awards, the « Gala Des Oliviers, » from 2005 to 2019, and for the « Défi 28 jours » of the Jean-Lapointe Foundation on TVA in 2021.

She has performed at Piknic Electronik, Igloofest, Brooklyn Mirage, the Montreal International Jazz Festival, Club der Visionaere (Berlin), Batofar, La Santanera (Playa del Carmen), and Flash DC, to name a few.
