On October 31, the Robin Hood transforms itself into a veritable time machine for a wild Halloween evening, brought to life by the electrifying world of the 80s!

For a special edition of High Fidelity/Haute Fidélité, DJs Geneviève Borne and Brendan Kelly will have you rocking to the rhythms of British new wave, glam rock and old-school disco. The Cure, David Bowie, Depeche Mode, Blondie, Soft Cell… the musical selection will be carefully chosen to keep you dancing all evening long – with a few gothic nods to honor the spirit of Halloween!

✨ Brendan Kelly got into deejaying late in life. As a teenager, he started writing music reviews, co-founded the alternative weekly Montreal Mirror and has been writing about Montreal culture ever since, mostly in the Gazette. He created his High Fidelity/Haute Fidélité party in early 2018 at O Patro Vys and has never looked back. Brendan specializes in cool 1980s British new wave (The Cure, Smiths, Depeche Mode, etc.) and old school disco.

✨ Genevieve Borne has been a deejay since the age of 10! Even back then, she’d get her girlfriends into her basement disco to dance to My Sharona and Heart of Glass! Over the years, the former Musiqueplus veejay has retained her passion for setting dancefloors alight with hits from rock, disco and New Wave, her favorite musical style! She’s delighted to reunite with her accomplice Brendan Kelly for a wild Halloween evening at Robin des Bois!
